Prayer time 19 November 2025
THE DIVINE ORDER OF LIFE - Life with the Lord’s Prayer as our scaffold.
Aspect of God: God Is Principle / Law
Relaxation
Settle.
Soften.
Allow your breath to fall into a natural rhythm.
As we build a setting of relaxation, make it easy for yourself to become completely still.
Spine erect, but not stiff.
Feet flat on the floor, if seated or standing.
Unclenched tight jaw, perhaps even cup your jaw and cheeks inviting them to relax a little.
For me, it’s always dropping my shoulders and then noticing how my breath returns to ‘easy.’
Now we’ve settled in, think of this space actually as a building … a structure for your body to be still in.
And now we’re deeply still, the silence slips in.
Focus Aspect of God - That God is Principle, God is Law
Divine Principle is the unbreakable Law of Good governing the universe.
Impersonal. Changeless. Universal.
Principle does not wobble.
Though we wobble. Find life a little wonky. Feel out of sorts. Out of place. A bit confused, sometimes lost. God, as Principle is not that.
Principle does not change its mind.
Even though we may change our mind. And flip flop. And doubt.
So, let’s align to the principle that God is Law.
Each of our lives are lived as an expression of it - Divine Law.
You, and I, and all, exist in Divine Order.
Divine Order expresses through your choices, your clarity, your integrity.
Say:
“I am aligned with Divine Principle; therefore my life aligns around me.”
Concentration
1 Corinthians 14:33 – “For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.”
Imagine your life aligned with God.
This is a life NOT of confusion, but a life aligned with peace.
Thinking about that for a moment.
So, suddenly, the stories from our day can be seen in a new light.
Another opportunity to Golden Key our perspective of our day.
Could it be that what we are judging as disorder, misaligned, confusion, lack of resources, is actually a life in divine order, in perfect peace, it’s just that we don’t naturally see it that way when it feels wonky, clunky, and a bit broken.
Something to consider.
“…God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.”
“…God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.”
“…God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.”
So, while we align our thoughts on what we have experienced in our day today, let’s also give our finances and situations requiring change or attention, a gentle reset using a selection of affirmations taken from Catherine Ponder’s work The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity.
(Many recordings and writings can be found online for your use - I particularly like Brian Harris’ selection where he numbers them as he reads….as a suggestion for your own composition of a selection that appeals to you).
I bless you and bless you for the riches of God are now being demonstrated in and through you.
I bless you with rich increase of God’s almighty good.
I rejoice in the bounty of God constantly manifesting as overflowing supply here and now.
I give thanks that I am beautifully and appropriately clothed with the rich substance of God, housed with the rich substance of God, and transported with the rich substance of God.
Divine Order is my portion. I am now established and maintained. Harmony reigns supreme.
With praise and thanksgiving, I set the riches of God before me this day to guide, govern, protect and prosper me. All things needful are now provided.
My rich good becomes visible now on this wonderful, blessed day.
Wealth and riches are my portion and I give thanks in advance for receiving all of heaven’s bounty.
My words are charged with prospering power.
I give thanks that my financial income is now increasing mightily through the direct action of God’s rich good.
I give thanks for the immediate and complete payment of all financial obligations in God’s own wonderful way.
I am a child of the living God I am therefore one with his wisdom. That wisdom now leads me in paths of righteousness, peace and true success.
Meditation
Let’s just sink right into two minutes of complete silence - I’ll hold the space and the time, and you stay right where you are in the quiet. Afterwards, we’ll look at the Lord’s prayer together before we close in our usual fashion….
I’ll leave you now for 2 minutes….
Realisation - The Order Lands
Affirm:
Every day, in every way, I am more aligned with Divine Principle. Order establishes me. Clarity guides me. Clarity IS me. I am a child of Divine Law. (Always my favourite…) Today is a good day, and today is a day of clarity, purpose and alignment. Divine Order goes before me and arranges all things rightly. I am one with Divine Principle.
And just a moment to consider our use of the Lord’s Prayer each time we pray (our rhythm for now)…we may use the Lord’s prayer on repeat, but with feeling and engagement this type of repetition is a brilliant way to lock into our prayers.
I’m reading from Eric Butterworth’s Discover the Power within You chapter 9:
“Prayer is not something we do to God but to ourselves.
It is not a position but a disposition.
It is not flattery but a sense of oneness.
It is not asking but knowing.
It is not words but feeling.*
It is not will but willingness.
*Or to rephrase, it IS words but WITH feeling.
Appreciation
And so we say
Thank You, Principle. Thank You, God within.
And together we pray the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed by your name.
Your Kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever, amen.
Amen. Amene. Tihei mauri ora. Where there is Life, there is God.
Leaving you now so you may slip away into your evening….
Thank you for joining in together.
