UNITY WORLD DAY OF PRAYER LETTER
Dear Friends of Unity,
Thank you for joining us during World Prayer Day. As we connect together in a consciousness of the Christ light we form a radiating circle of God’s healing love and power that enfolds us all.
How powerful it is to know that as we acknowledge God’s presence through our Christ consciousness we allow His mighty power to flow through us and out to others, and our world. As our hearts and minds open fully to Presence we too become co-creators of His love and peace.
Each day brings a new opportunity to take time to give thanks for our blessings, to re- dedicate ourselves and our lives to God, and to extend our prayers to include all of our fellow beings and our planet Earth.
Let us always remember that in Truth we live in a spiritual world, governed by spiritual law. Wonderful changes are being brought about through the power of God’s love and divine plan expressing through willing, receptive and spiritually attuned people everywhere.
Our affirmation for World Day of Prayer is –

As we unite with millions of prayer partners world-wide, we give thanks that mighty currents of God’s healing love flow into every life, blessing, transforming, bringing freedom and peace.

Dear Daily Word and Friends of Silent Unity, Thank you for being part of the Unity World Day of Prayer Vigil. Silent Unity is very grateful for your loving willingness to set time aside to pray with us during this day of united prayer for the good of all.
As we reach into our hearts and open the way for God’s love to flow through us we join together knowing that united prayer is helping to build a better world.
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9
We share with you the prayer process we use in our Daily prayer time in Silent Unity which you may also wish to use, or you may prefer to follow the pattern of your prayer time that feels best for you, and suits your circumstances.
As we pray each day in Silent Unity, we always remember the words of Jesus the Christ, who said-
“It is not I, but the Father within me who does the work through me.”
With these words in mind and heart, as you start your prayer vigil time—
*Give thanks to God for the Christ love and light that is with you as you pray.

DAILY WORD FOR THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 12
World Day of Prayer
My positive thoughts, words, and actions create a healthy life-mind, body, and spirit.
The power of Divine Life dwells in me, It is my essential makeup, my true nature. Through affirmative prayer, new ways of life are revealed to me.
As I develop the practice of thinking, speaking, and acting in life-affirming ways, I work with the Divine Life rather than against it. I allow health and wholeness-expressions of Divine Life-to manifest in my mind, body, and spirit.
I look for the good, for God, in every experience, expanding my awareness into a consciousness of wholeness. My speech is constructive as I cooperate with the creative process. I act in healthful ways that reflect my embodiment of the Divine. These thoughts, words, and actions create a healthy life.
Be renewed in the spirit of your minds-Ephesians 4:23
SILENT UNITY PRAYER SERVICE FOR SEPTEMBER
It is not I, but the Christ within who does the work.
We come together to be nourished and renewed by a time of prayer. What better way to nurture our minds, bodies, and souls than through peaceful stillness.
Our starting point on this inner journey is to intentionally set a sacred arena for prayer. With soft, mindful breathing, we release any tension or anxiety that may block our way. In quietness, we reconnect with our divine birthright of balance and wholeness… ~
I am open to the peace of God within.
With every mindful breath, I breathe in harmony with the peace of God within me. The act of breathing in and out soothes my body and calms my thoughts. I am aligned with my natural state of spiritual well-being. Unperturbed by anything in the outer, I relax into the inner point of peaceful stillness…~
Attuned to divine wisdom, I know what is mine to do.
Allowing the breath to move me more fully into the stillness, I am keenly attentive to divine guidance. This quiet time of prayer gently nudges me beyond intellectual thought toward right resolutions. I intuitively sense the rightness of my choices, and I am confident and courageous. The right action for me is clearly revealed as I listen, in the Silence…~
I am healed and renewed.
I am calmed and soothed by the steady rhythmic flow of my breathing. Each breath nourishes my body and quiets my mind in tranquil peace. My thoughts slow their feverish pace, allowing me to become a clear conduit for the healing flow of spirit. This powerful healing stream fosters rejuvenation that is without limits or delay. I let this healing tide wash over me, in the Silence…~
God is my unfailing source.
It is my divine birthright to live well. I see myself whole and balanced in mind and body, relationships, and all aspects of my life. With a deep cleansing breath, I release any beliefs or habits that may block prosperity’s flow in my life. I silently affirm my confidence in the all-providing Divine sustenance that is already mine. I have access to abundant health, wealth, and wisdom – equal to every demand. I lift my vision from material matters to spiritual reality, where my true prosperity lies. I relinquish doubt and trust God to prosper me beyond appearances, resting once more, in the Silence…~
In mind and heart, I hold a vision of peace for all the world.
I am one with the nurturing presence of God within. Just as I love myself, I effortlessly extend my love to others. Holding a clear vision of peace for the world, I resolve to make wise, peaceful choices and to nurture loving relationships. I endeavour to be a catalyst for peace as I rest in the sanctity of stillness…~
*After reading, pause for 5 minutes or longer if you wish. As you rest, silently or out aloud affirm:
“As I pray and rest in the silence, I am a channel for God’s love and peace to flow out to all creation.” Amen.
As you continue to rest in the silence of prayer, hold to this affirmation, repeat several times and be aware that God is doing His wondrous work through you right now, uniting you with all prayer partners around the world for the greater good for all.
Finally, as you close your time of prayer, give thanks to God for answered prayer and affirm the Prayer for Protection-
The Light of God surrounds you;
The love of God enfolds you:
The power of God protects you,
The presence of God watches over you,
Wherever we are God Is Amen.
