The words of the quote and the scripture remind us to not only open our hearts, but keep them open in order that the fullness of the inner gift of love divine will radiate through all aspects of our lives and out from us to others. With Christmas almost upon us I remind us all of the inner gift of Divine love that is the very heart of the message of the birth of Jesus.
How wonderful it is to not only acknowledge our I AM nature but to also to accept the greatest gift of all, the gift of the Christ LIGHT.
As we come to the closure of another year let us remember the truth that– What ever circumstance we may find ourselves in -the Truth is -we can be assured of the power of Divine Love that is always ready to comfort and guide us out of the complexities of the day to day living into a new a awareness. Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore shares these wonderful words with us-
Love is an inner quality that sees good everywhere and in everybody. It insists that all is good, and by refusing to see anything but good it causes that quality finally to appear uppermost.
As we bless the year that has gone and welcome in a new year, how can you and I take more of this wonderful quality of Divine Love so that our lives overflow with greater good. This wonderful scripture reading reminds us of the spiritual richness Divine Love has for us all.

Each September Unity celebrates World day of Prayer uniting in a global consciousness of the positive effect of affirmative faith filled prayer for those who pray as a channel for the Christ light to bless all. Being part of a united prayer consciousness during World Day of Prayer is an opportunity to increase a deeper awareness of God in your own life, and to see God in all people, and in all situations.
As we become more aware and thankful of the value and purpose of daily prayer, we raise our own consciousness and allow our inner light to be part of co-creating peace and love in our lives, and in our world.
Unity World Day of Prayer Thursday 11th September is a day that we can all make a difference by being willing to take time to pray, and to rest for a time in the silence. As we pray and align our mind and heart with our Christ Light, this inner light changes us at depth. By our faith and willingness to set aside time to pray—we continue to release our limiting attitudes and open ourselves to experience a deep abiding love, peace, and a deeper sense of purpose of divine living.
”Be the change you want to see in the world.” Gandhi: Through daily prayer, our perception of ourselves, others, and our outer world change. We begin to live from the essence of divine love. By divine order our lives and our outer world begins to reflect our inner peace and the joy of our true nature into all areas of our lives and we prosper. It is empowering to accept that as a Spiritual Being, having human experiences, our divine purpose is to let go that which is not of our true nature, our Christ Light to shine.
In our rapidly evolving world, let us remember that it is our divine purpose to continue to build a conscious awareness of our own light and let it shine. Truth Is! you are an important part co-creating a better world. Let Your Light Shine for the good of all.

Do you believe that God has put within you a special gift that will benefit your life and the lives of others?
STIR UP THE GIFTS WITHIN YOU AND UNLOCK YOUR SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL!
It is revealing to stop and ask ourselves this question. So often we overlook our spiritual gifts that are still to be discovered and expressed through us. “Our true purpose is to live as a “Divine Being, not a Human doing.” Yes, it is true we go about our daily life, striving to be the very best we can be and to live a life from spiritual principles.
Through the practice of resting in the silence, we are awakened and listen to the “Voice of God.” From this inner realm of pure being our divine gifts are revealed to us in the form of “divine ideas”. Inspiration comes from within. We use our spiritual gifts by seeing the evidence of God everywhere present.
As we seek the good in all, we stir up our spiritual gifts God immediately responds to our every intent to see the good in others, ourselves, and in our world. It is for us to choose each day to stir up our spiritual gifts by focussing on what we have to share. Remember that you are a Child of God, and you have much to share. You are the gift you have been waiting for! “You Are unique and beautiful! Yes! you are a Divine Being!” God is waiting for you to claim more of your spiritual gifts and will guide you to share with others in joyful and prosperous ways. Let us accept that we are all important in the tapestry of God’s divine plan of good As we work together in Oneness, sharing our gifts, God multiplies His divine ideas through us. With this in mind, I look forward in joy to serving alongside the many talents and skills of Board members, members of our Unity community, not only in Auckland but throughout NZ ,sharing our collective love of the Unity teachings to a wider community.
