LOVE ONE ANOTHER DEEPLY FROM THE HEART – 1 Peter 1:22
Love and joy was certainly in the air during the wonderful visit of Rev. Mark Fuss & Lois Cheatham in January. It was an uplifting time for those who joined us to experience the love and blessings they shared with us from Unity Worldwide Headquarters, Unity Village.
Their visit increased communication and support for Unity, Silent Unity & Daily Word in NZ. I am deeply appreciative of this support as I work with the Board towards my retirement this year. I also wish to sincerely thank all the Board members as they continue to volunteer their time, dedication, and commitment to serve Unity. 2020 has started with a fast pace. We are experiencing and witnessing constant change in all areas of life. It is of profound importance for each of us to practise living from higher vibration of “Divine Love” .
Each year the 40 days of Lent encourage us to become willing to do the work of “fasting from” thought and attitudes that bind us to limitation” and to “feast upon” words of Truth as we approach the true meaning of Easter in order to be prepared in mind, heart and soul to accept and resurrect and express our “Christ nature.”
Unity’s 2020 Lenten booklet “Fasting & Feasting A Spiritual Practice for Lent” says:
….“Lent is not simply a season of renewal. It is also a period of reflection and release. We must face crucifixion before we celebrate resurrection, must look at the shadow then turn to the light within without flinching from either. We sweep away any thoughts that block our good before we affirm statements of Truth to guide our days.”
So let us choose to take time in the midst of all that is taking place in the outer
world, and decision to affirm often each day–
“I FAST FROM” the negative” and “ I FEAST UPON” the good, and in faith,
and gratitude to God, know that the Truth Is- each time YOU do this, YOU are calling forth from
within and allowing YOUR “God given Christ Energy of Divine Love “ to flow freely through
YOUR thoughts, words and actions that help co-create God’s divine plan of good, for the good of all.
In the love and peace of Christ, and in loving service, Rev. Rhonda.
