Trust Board Report

TRUST BOARD REPORT 2011

Thanks to those members who attended the AGM and ensured we had a quorum. At the last Trust Board meeting in June, as per our Constitution, we voted on the Executive positions for the coming year.

The Trust Board members for the year are as follows:

Chairperson: Robert Bell  Vice Chairperson: Cecile L’Estrange. Secretary: Shari Burgoyne.  Treasurer: Christine Barton. Board members: Alice Worsley, Rev. Rhonda Joy Gola

A Personal Note From Rev. Rhonda

I acknowledge and thank both Richard Dyson and Cecile Fleming, who have diligently served  two 3 year terms of office on the Unity Trust Board. Although no longer Board members I truly appreciate their continued interest and support.

I wish to acknowledge and thank Robert Bell, who has also served a long term of office, and appreciate his willingness to stay for a further term   to fill the Chairperson’s role, and to assist the new Treasurer.  I warmly welcome our two new members to the Board this year, Alice Worsley and Shari Burgoyne who have already shown their enthusiasm and commitment to serve Unity. I look forward to working with the Board to fulfil our goals to expand  Unity and Silent Unity as a Spiritual Community throughout New Zealand.

Chairperson’s Report – September 2011

Chairperson’s Report – September 2011

I wanted to let you know as the new chairman, that your newly elected Unity Trust Board for the 2012 year has met twice and all is running smoothly. Alice Worsley and Shari Burgoyne are enthusiastic new board members. There are many issues of administration and compliance that go with running  a modern charitable Trust. So all this happens day to day in the office.

Louise our new office assistant for Rhonda also has just completed her first 3 months. The Board voted for Louise to be a permanent employee and she has elected to stay on and loves her role at Unity.  After 7 years as Treasurer I’m still handing over the Treasurers role to  Christine Barton the new Treasurer. I DID kiss the Blarney Stone (Ireland) in pouring rain and held a thought for Unity’s ongoing prosperity!
