RHONDA’S NEW YEAR MESSAGE

It has been another eventful year for us all, the months have flown by quickly and now with Christmas day almost upon us we are ready for the more relaxed days between Christmas and the New Year, that give us time to reflect upon the truth that the true gift of Christmas is our awakening to our Christ nature.

“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievableand receives the impossible.”~ (Corrie ten Boom.)
This is also a time when we recognize the value of our growing faith and its power for good in our life that enables us to trust God in all situations.

“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not yet seen.” Hebrews 11:1

It is an investment in our spiritual growth and maturity to begin our New Year with the conviction to give more time to God. As we learn to let go the need to “have to know in advance” and choose to trust in God, we deepen our faith, and our daily life is lived with greater fulfilment knowing there is a divine plan and purpose for us all.

Through daily prayer, we strengthen our faith in God as the source of all our good. In developing our daily “prayer life” we move from too much “doing” to “being.” By listening in the stillness, we receive our greatest insights and divine ideas from God to act upon in loving wisdom and faith. There is no question that we are moving into another year of further change as well as unlimited possibilities for good.

Prayer is a way of life, a way to move through life with peace in my heart. Prayer is a tool, which I use to build my awareness of God within and to bring myself closer to God. In this awareness of God’s presence, I am poised and centered and open to my highest good. And So It Is!
As we maintain an attitude of faith and expectancy of good, we become part of the collective shift in human consciousness that enables Spirit to increase the new energy of enlightenment that heals and prospers all of our lives,

This year let us choose to build our lives on words of truth- “We walk by faith not by sight.’” 2 Corinthians 5:7

“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievableand receives the impossible.”~ (Corrie ten Boom.)

Let us make this a personal affirmation for 2012: “I walk by faith not by sight.”

Let us give thanks daily, and move forward in faith knowing that with God in charge and active in our lives we are all part of co-creating a new and better world of peace and prosperity for all. With joy, faith and enthusiasm, I extend to you all my prayer for a faith filled, healthy and prosperous 2012. In the love and faith of Christ,

Rhonda

Rhonda’s Message Nov/Dec 2011

How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in Unity
Psalm 33:3

It was my great joy again to facilitate our annual Unity Retreat. This year, 20 people, some new to Unity, and those who come each year gathered together to relax and enjoy each others company in the peaceful atmosphere and landscape of St. Francis. I appreciate all who attended for blessing me and I thank God for His grace that blessed us all.

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances.
1 Thessalonians 5:16

Each year we celebrate “Thanksgiving” for we know the value of giving thanks and expressing gratitude as a way to live fully in the flow of God’s good. We also recognize that it is not enough to know the value of giving thanks we must also – “cultivate our attitude of gratitude” and express it daily in order to lift and sustain our consciousness high enough to release the vibration of Divine love from within, building our greater appreciation of good within us and everywhere present.

We live in an awesome world. Make everyday an awesome day. Each day- live simply, love generously care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God.~ Author unknown

Christmas offers us many opportunities to cultivate our attitude of gratitude. The “Spirit of Christmas” is not just a season, it is a way of living in gratitude to God each day for His loving presence active in our lives. Gratitude opens our minds and hearts, our eyes and ears to see and give thanks for the good in the Now! As we enter into the Christmas season, let us consciously choose to move through all that is before us in loving gratitude to God, sharing the greatest gift given to us all by God, the gift of our “Christ Nature.”

To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven.
~Johannes A. Gaertner

With Christmas almost upon us we are aware that our world is in great change, we are also conscious of many people who not only need tangible acts of generosity, but also love and kindness. Let us give from the love of God within us and know that whatever gift we give is richly blessed from our heart and felt deeply as it touches the lives of others. May the peace of God be with you and your loved ones, and the New Year bring forth abundant blessings to you all. In the Love and light of the Christ.

We are now in the process of this taking place and will notify you when the new emails are in operation. In the meantime you can continue to connect with us on nzunity@yahoo.co.nz and silentunityprayer@yahoo.co.nz. In addition there will be a revamp of the whole website making it possible for the easier uploading of the Newsletter and any other notices.  We have also invested in a programme that will enable expansion of the Web Ministry allowing for new technologies including a pay facility for Daily Word subscriptions and Donations etc.

Rhonda’s Message – Sept/Oct 2011

Rev. Rhonda Joy Gola, Unity Minister

Rhonda Joy Gola, Minister

Charles Fillmore cofounder of Unity is quoted as saying – “Prayer is the most highly accelerated mind action known to human kind”.

“And what ever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith”.  Matthew: 21:22

These words are to inspire and motivate us to use the power of prayer,  with faith in God as the Source of all our good and to boldly declare the  desire of our hearts and believe that with God in charge, all things are  possible, and they are!    If we desire a deeper meaning to our life and seek a richer understanding of ourselves, and others as “Spiritual Beings,” we are blessed to have affirmative prayer as a tool we can choose to use to build our awareness of  ” God Everywhere Present.” By the power of consistent prayer, we lift up, and above our “human busyness” into our “Spiritual awareness.”   This inner Christ power and potential  for greater expression is then released through our thoughts, words, and actions.

Let us remember that –  We have been created to live abundantly in love and peace.

Our world is changing for greater good, and calling each of us from within to take a firm step up in faith and to give time to pray in order to “Be still” in order to express greater insights and wisdom in all areas of our lives.

As much as prayer is for each of us- Collective affirmative prayer is a mighty power for the greater good of us all.

During Unity’s World Day of Prayer on Thursday September 8th, I invite you to take an extra moment or two to tune into the global prayer consciousness, and affirm often throughout the day, “I am a channel through which Spirit illumines the world. Thank you God for answered prayer. Amen.”

Know in faith and gratitude that your prayers of love and peace do make a difference in your own life, and contribute to the greater good for all.

In the love and light of the Christ

Rhonda
